17. For alcoholic, if suffering from weak exo-yang syndrome, should not apply Guizhi soup. Guizhi soup will cause vomiting in this case. This is due to the fact that the endogenous section of alcoholic  is heaty and water congested, Guizhi soup is spicy, sweet and warm in nature. It is not suitable for water congestion and heat congestion for endogenous section. It will increase the heat and making water more congested in inner body.

Guizhi soup is warm and increase the fluid in the body. It is good for exogenous problem and not so suitable for endogenous heat and water congestion.
For alcoholic, their inner body always heaty and suffering from water congestion, so Guizhi soup is not suitable for them when they are suffering from colds or flu.
