45. Exo-yang illness, after sweat induction the syndrome persist, purging is wrongly applied. If after purging the pulse is float, indicates that illness is not healed,  this is due to the fact that float pulse indicate exogenous problem, should always treated with induction of sweat, purging will not solve the problem. Now after purging, if the pulse remain float, we can conclude that the illness has not advance into the body but remain in exo section, so the treatment is to relieve the exogenous illness, Guizhi tang is suitable.
